MY STYLE
To me, the emotion and composition of a photo is what pieces the story together, whether it's the quiet intimacy of a couple or the electrifying energy of a live performance. I shoot my artwork in a way that you can feel something. In portraits, I like to act as if I am shooting a movie, capturing lots of movement and allowing you to feel as if I am not even there. My goal is always to capture the in-between moments that really feel like you. Posing you and telling you exactly what to do is not enjoyable. Instead, I like to guide you in a way that feels natural and allows you to show your love the way you feel most comfortable.
When the lights dim and the music swells, my approach shifts to capturing the raw energy and passion of live music. I aim to document the connection between the artist and the crowd, the sweat dripping from the performer's brow, the hands raised in unison, the sheer joy and intensity of the moment. I look for the decisive moments, the powerful expressions, and the dynamic interplay of light and shadow that define a live show.
Whether it's the story of a relationship unfolding or the story of a band captivating an audience, my style is all about capturing the authentic feeling.
